Do you allow Tor exit nodes on your network?

We allow tor exit nodes as long as the following provisions are followed:

  • You open a ticket with the support team upon ordering informing us that you will be operating a tor exit node. We will then SWIP your IP address space to you for any abuse complaints within 1 business day. Please provide an ARIN POC, if we need to create an entry for you you will be charged an administrative one-time fee of $50.

  • You setup an rDNS entry that indicates you are operating a tor exit node. This is usually done by setting rDNS on your IP addresses to tor.yourdomain.tld

  • You block the following ports:

    • TCP 25 (SMTP)

    • TCP 465 (SMTP over SSL)

    • TCP 587 (SMTP over TLS)

    • TCP 6660-6667 (IRC)

    • TCP 6697 (IRC over SSL)

If all of these provisions are followed, we have no problems with an exit node being operated on our network. These provisions have been designed to cut down on abuse and ensure we can continue offering our services to exit nodes well into the future. Exit nodes failing to abide by these provisions are subject to immediate termination without warning or refund, no exceptions.
