Mean Servers is pleased to announce that in late September, we will be opening our second data center location in Los Angeles, California! Hosted out of Psychz Networks, Mean Servers will operate our own network and own our own infrastructure just as we do at our main data center location in Denver, Colorado. We will offer our cPanel Web Hosting, DirectAdmin Web Hosting, Budget VPS, Unmanaged VPS, Enterprise Managed VPS, and Unmetered VPS lines of products out of Los Angeles in addition to our main location in Denver. Don't want to move from Denver to Los Angeles? No problem, our Los Angeles location is IN ADDITION TO our Denver location! Denver will remain our main data center and the location of our Network Operations Center.

By opening our second location in Los Angeles, Mean Servers will be able to offer lower latency and higher speeds to our Asia and Asia-Pacific clients on the same highly reliable and redundant systems our clients have come to trust from Mean Servers out of our main Denver location. Current clients will also be able to migrate to Los Angeles should they so choose. In addition to offering our new location, Mean Servers will begin offering anycast services to customers that purchase a VPS from any VPS line of products in both our Denver and Los Angeles locations!

Our shared web hosting line of products will also be expanding to take advantage of our ever growing foot print and locations. Mean Servers plans on offering the first of it's kind anycast web hosting services; allowing our shared web hosting clients to harness the power of anycast without needing the expertise of setting up a complicated and somewhat technically-heavy anycast VPS. Perfect for those running latency sensitive applications or websites where being as close to your customer base as possible is mission critical. This anycast shared hosting platform will serve content from both our Denver and Los Angeles locations at the Apache and MariaDB levels. The administration panel will be based of DirectAdmin and plans are in the works for a cPanel backend as well. The setup will also be designed to ensure redundancy in the remote chance should one data center become unavailable.

2015 has been a very busy year for Mean Servers and even after Los Angeles is opened, it will continue. Plans are in the works for our first international location as well! We're still tight-lipped about the exact location so stay tuned for additional details and exact location announcement.

We will be making an official announcement with additional details early next week regarding Los Angeles, this announcement is just a sneak peak of things to come. After a year of continual service, Mean Servers is healthier, more robust and expanding. We look forward to serving all of our current and future clients many, many more years, this is just the start of something big. Thanks to all of our clients for the past year of tremendous growth and support, we couldn't have done it without you!
