Mean Servers is pleased to announce that our RPKI rollout has reached the final stage and is now complete. All customers announcing IP address ranges are now required to have a valid RPKI/ROA for any space announced via their ASN or from our ASN, AS32931. Those with an unknown state will no longer be announced or accepted for future announcement. Previously, only invalid states were being filtered.

With Mean Servers reaching the final stage of our RPKI rollout, we have officially removed incoming route filters for clients with a BGP session. This means that if a client with a BGP session wishes to announce a new IP address subnet, all they need for the announcement to work is to ensure the appropriate ROAs are configured, the space is advertised to your designated peer, and the announcement will be automatically advertised within 24-48 hours of the ROA update, no need to open a support ticket to have route filters changed.

Note that the minimum subnet accepted for announcement is a /24 for IPv4 and /48 for IPv6. Longer subnets will be filtered automatically and not announced.
